For nearly eight years, Rhythm for a Reason has held bi-annual fundraisers showcasing local artists to raise money for nonprofits.The events are supported by corporate and local sponsors as well as by generous contributions and attendence by members of the community. Twice a year hundreds of guests attend our bi-annual events to learn about and support the community efforts.
In the past R4R has supported Project Share and Healthcare for the Homeless. Rhythm for a Reason is generously supporting the Albuquerque Storehouse and the Nob Hill Mainstreet Organization.

HOB NOB....join us for a special VIP event at Desert Fish on July 23rd, 2011 for Summerfest!
Come out and party in high-class summer style at the Rhythm for a Reason HOB NOB dance party at Desert Fish to celebrate the culmination of the 2nd Annual Route 66 Summerfest.
Join us for an exclusive VIP event including gourmet appetizers, two complimentary cocktails, live performances by penguinoTM Records recording artists and the Felonious Groove Foundation, and the best view of the Summerfest festivities.
Tickets are only $25 and can be purchased ONLINE or at the door. All proceeds will benefit the Nob Hill Mainstreet Organization and the new Nob Hill Community Garden.

Rock the House - Celebrity chef up to the challenge at local food pantry benefit.
Chef Sam Etheridge, owner and chef of Ambrozia Catering and previously owner and chef of Ambrozia in Old Town and Nob Hill Bar and Grill, puts his skills to the test this Saturday to send a message that good food doesn't have to be complicated or expensive.
“It is a cause that is very close to me as it has affected several people that I care about. I loved the idea of trying to use only the ingredients available at the Storehouse to show the challenges involved in providing complete nutritious meals that also taste good. Congratulations to The Storehouse who is our new recipient!
The Storehouse has a very simple, but very difficult job. They provide free food and clothing to people struggling with poverty. In 2008 alone, The Storehouse gave over 3.1 million meals to hungry New Mexicans.
